is cancelled

We are with the regret to announce you the cancellation of the Gran Prix Orion / HPI.
Indeed, other races take place the same week end (First round from 1/12 indoor french championship, first round from 1/10 indoor swiss championship).

Many accustomed drivers race in this two champioships and will therefore not take part to the Orion Cup this year.
It no more possible for us to shift the date of the Orion Cup, due to some organisation problems and hall schedule considerations.

Consequently and by respect for the pilots, we have decided to cancel this race.
Indeed, the weak participation due to the multiplication of the races over this weekend will not allow us to have enough pilots for such main event.

But we want to make a point of thanking all the people who took part in the organization of this race, but we also make a point of excusing to all racers who were already registered.

Refunding of registration

Obviously, we engage ourselves to refund the already paid inscriptions.
You will be refunded with the same maner used for the registration.

Salut Paul François, pour trouver les règlements EFRA, il y a un lien vers la fédération (en Anglais) sur la page des liens du site... Pour info, le Lipo n\'est pas autorisé: 5 éléments conventionnels (type NiMh, 1.2V nominal) en DTM et 6 éléments en TT. Selon la classe choisi, le moteur est fourni par l\'organisation (pour les Amateurs) ou libre (Pour les Experts), ce qui veut dire que dans cette classe le Brushless est autorisé (donc interdit en Amateur). En ésperant avoir répondu à tes questions. @+ Eric.

Hi DASS Cham, for expert class touring, authorized tires are CS27. For rims I don\'t the model, you will be able to buy from the race organization a second pair of controlled identical tires for each class you\'re registered in. For Cells no problem with Team Orion SHO 4600 5 cells Bye. Eric.

Hello Jan, Haapy to hear of you ! Regarding your questions : If you race in two classes, you will have to pay 80€. For this money, you will receive 2 pairs of controlled rear tires, one for each class (schumacher mini pin yellow). As well you will be able to buy from the race organization a second pair of controlled identical tires for each class you\'re registered in. Front tires for the race: tires of your choice, uncontrolled. Practicing : tires of your choice, uncontrolled. Race schedule : the track will be open from Friday 17h to 21h for free practicing. On Saturday, you will have 4-5 heats of controlled practice (tires are free), then 2-3 heats for qualifyings. On Sunday, 2-3 heats more for qualifyings, then the 3 heats of finals. This may vary depending on the amount of drivers Batteries : as long as you have 6 cells of 1.2v, no problems. No need to stay within the Efra list. I don\'t know how you plan to come to the race but remember that we have the euroairport basel / mulhouse nearby the track. It is well deserved by easyjet, ryanair, air berlin, etc. To avoid you the cost of the taxi, we can make some arrangements to pick you up and drive you back to the airport. Dear Mr Nicolas In case driver in both classes 2wd and 4wd expert registration charges are 40 EURO or 80 EURO ( double ). Concerning batteries: which batteries are legal? From EFRA website list or only requirements is 6 cells 1,2V. How many tires can be used during competition: 1 or 2 or different quantity. Le planing et le règlement, ainsi que les pages web seront dispos mi-septembre. MAis je peux déjà vous dire qu\'en Amateur le moteur est fourni par l\'organisation. Le règlement sera celui de l\'EFRA 2008 (5 éléments pour Touring, 6 en TT)... la suite sera mis en ligne coourant septembre @+ Eric.
